RP Sample (at least one paragraph): It was late and it was quiet, two of Ainsley’s favorite things. She found herself sleepless yet again, so instead of wasting time she decided to study for an up and coming exam. It wasn’t long after she began that Ainsley heard someone yelling her name. She recognized the voice immediately. Ainsley got up and walked to the top of the stairs, where she found her brother. “What do you want?” She asked sharply, the words sounding meaner than she intended. Ainsley saw Cam’s face fall. Even though the two were rather close that didn’t stop Ainsley from getting annoyed with him from time to time. And for Merlin’s sake, it was 4am! He was going to wake up everyone!

She stared at Cameron for a moment before he spoke again. “This owl came for you, it’s marked urgent,” he said, holding out the piece of parchment. Ainsley quickly ran down the stairs and grabbed the paper out of her brother’s hand. She glanced at the paper, instantly seeing who it was from. Ainsley’s absentminded glare turned into a smile. “Thanks, Cam,” she said. Right as she was about to run back up the stairs, Ainsley turned around and swiftly kissed the top of Cameron’s head. She ran back to her dorm then, only rolling her eyes with a smile on her face when she heard the other girls giggling.

Personality (at least one paragraph): When around friends or family Ainsley is bubbly and happy. She has a tendency to be talkative, but only when something peeks her interests. Bring up a movie Ainsley loves? You won’t be able to shut her up! Most times beside those she is rather quiet and prefers to listen in on what everyone else has to say, rarely sharing her own opinion. Ainsley can come off very introverted sometimes as well, because she, on occasion, prefers books more than people.

RP Sample: “Ruby! I have to tell you about the most wonderful dream I had last night!” Maisy exclaimed as she spun gracefully into her seat in the Great Hall. 

“Shoot,” Ruby said uncaringly from behind her issue of the Daily Prophet. It was nothing out of the ordinary for Maisy. The twirling, the dreams, the sickeningly sweet voice. It all got old. And frankly, it annoyed Ruby. 

“Well, I was in this black and white movie during the thirties and I had the loveliest dress on! And there was this man he was very, very handsome and rich beyond belief. We were strolling through the city and-” Maisy stopped herself from going on, “Hey! You’re not listening to me!” 

“I can only handle so much, Maise,” said Ruby noticing her sister’s pout, “Fine…Continue.” 

A grin spread wide across Maisy’s face as she began again with her story. She had a way with, um, getting her way. No one could stand to see her frown. 

Personality: Maisy is that kind of girl that can always see herself in a different era. She loves the roaring twenties, the thirties, the forties, the fifties, the sixties—Well, you get the idea. A lot of her free time is spent watching old muggle movies and reading classics. History and muggle studies are her favorite subjects. In fact, she wants to live in the muggle world when she gets older. Maisy is classy, friendly and intelligent. A dream, right?

Maya couldn’t sleep, so she decided to take a walk around campus, ignoring the fact that it was the middle of the night. She pulled on her jacket and shoes, closing the door carefully as she left, not wanting to make a single sound. She silently walked outside, deciding not to go further than her front steps. Sitting down on the stairs, she stared at her hands, a small spark appearing between them. She couldn’t help but think if like would have been easier if she had been normal. But there was not point wasting times on things that would never be. There was a feint sound from the bushes close to her, causing her to jump up. Looking around for any more movements, Maya decided to go back inside.

Mia is a complete daddy’s girl, and proud to be her fathers daughter. She grew up with only her father after her mother, a muggle, died at giving birth. Growing up she was bullied heavily for being a dark child, which caused her to become very closed off when she became a teenager, only trusting her dad. To some she may seem a bit of a bitch but she is only protecting herself. Once people make the effort to get to know her she can be a good person. She has always excelled in school, earning her a place in Ravenclaw.

RP Sample (at least one paragraph): Strutting through the corridors, Roxanne felt like she was at the top of the world. She knew that most people looked at her whenever she passed them by, and that they thought she’d never give them the time of day. Something about this fact made her feel, well, empowered. It made her feel like she was important. Sure, maybe part of the reason she acted the way she did was because, amongst her cousins, she knew that she wasn’t the best, well, at anything. She wasn’t as pretty, or as smart, or as nice… She was just Roxanne. As she came up alongside Molly, one of the only cousins she got along with in the slightest. “Hello, Molly,” she said as she passed her, and walked into the potions classroom.
Personality (at least one paragraph): Roxanne has always been a little bit… Odd, even for  a Weasley. She’s always enjoyed being the center of attention, but as a child she wasn’t really the one to be noticed. She always was overshadowed by Fred, or one of her numerous cousins. You’d think the fact that she and her cousin Molly were both sorted into Slytherin, and both seem to be outcasts, that they might be friends, but you’re wrong. Sure, they get along alright, but to Roxanne, Molly’s just another cousin trying to steal her spotlight. Roxanne isn’t really a bad person, or a slut or anything… She’s just different. She doesn’t take people’s shit, and she tends to speak her mind. If that makes her a bitch, she’s fine with it. Really, she doesn’t care what people think of her, because at the end of the day, she’s number one. She’s got the stereotypical cunning and wit of a Slytherin, and she knows how to get what she wants. It takes a lot for her to open up and trust people, but once you’re in, you’re in. If you betray her, she will not be afraid to beat the living shit out of you. She lives life in the fast lane, and has no regrets about anything.

RP Sample (at least one paragraph): (from another roleplay) Eleanor sat on a chair in the Hufflepuff common room, directly in front of the fire. She had a book open on her lap, but she truthfully wasn’t paying attention to it. She was trying to figure out a way to change herself. What could she honestly do to stop being seen as Eleanor: The Pushover, or Eleanor: The Wallflower. She wanted to be known for something, and someone that people wouldn’t want to fuck with.

People didn’t mess with the Slytherins, but… Eleanor wasn’t anything like the Slytherins. Maybe if she just hung out with them, and became friends… Maybe then people would leave her alone. Yeah! That was what Eleanor would do. She’d become a badass by becoming friends with badasses. She would be the new and improved Eleanor Carrow.
Personality (at least one paragraph):  Arden is very soft spoken, and finds grades and intelligence to be more important. Yes, her family is all Slytherins and she’s Ravenclaw, but that doesn’t bother her at all. In fact, it makes her happy. From a young age you could have considered her to be… eccentric. She has odd and different beliefs than most, that some might find odd. Arden has a generally serene disposition, and not much upsets her. She has a knack for being bluntly honest and making people feel uncomfortable. She’s very intelligent and perceptive, and has a sarcastic tone at almost all times. She’s really a true friend, and she’s very loyal if you take the time to get to know her.

It was breakfast time and Xander had just finished eating while other students slowlyshuffled in. He didn’t like to eat around others, it made him feel weird and he especially didn’t like when eyes that were hungry for more than food. He always acted like he didn’t mind, he’d look back and smile, act as if he is as oblivious as he usually puts off but on the  inside he knows exactly what others are thinking and he is imagining things ten times worse as a branch off.  Xander skipped playfully out of the Great Hall, making his way down the hallway, not wanting to seem intimidating like the stereotypical Slytherin. No he couldn’t do that, why would he want to reveal his true colours? He was a nice boy; A nice boy who greet everyone, student or teacher, the type of nice boy who helps when people drop things, instead of kicking things to the side and out of his way like he feels he should. A nice boy who skips back to his common room all smiles, his facial muscles aching and somewhat twitching at some points closer to the end of his journey, but nevertheless he still makes it back to the common room without ruining his reputation. It’s when he enters, that’s when his face relaxes some. He continues to smile, but more genuine, it’s less of an effort to be around people you could actually stand.

Personality (at least one paragraph): Xander is playful by nature. He enjoys playing all and all. Playing with people like a child, or playing with people’s minds like a true snake. He likes to make everyone think he is really nice and fluffy all the time when he himself knows that he can be an asshole sometimes. He’s really not trying to promote interhouse harmony, but more trying to make himself seem like a good guy all the time in case something works against him one day. Other than his plotty nature he is a completely sweet guy to his friends and people that he thinks aren’t the dirtiest pieces of flesh that could ever be presented before his eyes. He likes to touch a lot and has a bit of a problem keeping his hands to himself, and he can be a bit clingy at times.

Blake was getting, well slightly tired of all the drama teenagers have. Especially girls. He’d wake up in the morning to bitch fights happening down in the common room. Also every girlfriend he ever had he’d broken up with because he couldn’t handle the constant whinging. 

One of these days Blake woke up irritated. He’s had a dream about girls spreading rumours. greeeaat. He looked around and thought “oh what the hell”. He then decided out loud that..
“Guys, i’m turning gay”. He proceeded down to the great hall after that so he could digest what he had just said.. and some breakfast.

After a day of gossip and stares (gossip spreads around hogwarts rather fast) Blake decided he still liked girls. But this new outlook on guys really seem to interest him, so he decided to be bisexual.

Arriving back at the common room to his dorm mates, Blake could tell he gave them quite a scare in the morning and explained the situation to them. they were his best mates so he trusted them. With anything. This seemed to get them back to normal.

Blake is full of life and full of creativity. although he often questions the house he was placed in, it’s obvious that he belongs there. 
Blake loves to dance. he’s always had an interest in it. he doesn’t quite like the idea of people watching him though, he’s scared he’ll be judged. especially after the small rep he’s created for himself.

Blake gets average marks in school.. passable marks. 
he hates girls that use him for sex. but loves the girls a little more now. With him being bi, it lets him get away with a lot. lots of people doubt him for his out of the blue decision, but he’s optimistic and tells them “Well hey if i get drunk, it doesn’t matter who i snog does it?”

Blake gets along with most people, but if you get on the wrong side of him, it takes a lot of hard work to earn back his trust.

Quidditch, to Eli, is a fascinating wonderment. He’s played football since he was a young boy, and was quite proficient at it before he found out he was a wizard and was shipped off to Hogwarts, so imagine his surprise when he found out there was a magical equivalent that took place on flying broomsticks. He’d watch practices with excited eyes and watch the players zoom by for hours.

The only problem was, as Eli soon found out, that he wasn’t that great on a broom. Getting on a broom meant near catastrophic results — in his first year alone he was sent to the infirmary three times for flying into a wall and breaking something, not to mention the five times he was sent for motion sickness (this was a persistent problem; he’d spent most of the train rides to Hogwarts with his head in a paper bag). He’d learned to wrest better control of the broom as the year went on, but always view the deftly flying Quidditch players with a twinge of envy. If only the sport took place on the ground, he would’ve aced it within a month.

Sometimes, on cold, rainy days when the pitch was deserted, he’d take his football out to the grass and kick around a little. He missed it — the feeling of making a goal, running until his heart gave out, the audience cheering on his team. Envious, that’s what he was.

Personality (at least one paragraph): WHAT CAN I SAY, this kid is a troll, all day, all the time. He’s super friendly and gregarious and will talk to strangers. He’s brave and loyal and all that good crap. He’s a Muggleborn, so all this magic stuff is new to him, and he gets a kick out of showing the wizarding kids Muggle technology and stuff. IT WOULD ALSO BE COOL IF HE SOMEHOW KNEW BEE /trying to tie in all the characters lol. Some faults is that he doesn’t study too hard and that (if I’m actually going with the gay dads thing lol) he’s aware his familial situation is different, so he doesn’t really like to talk about himself or open up to others.
